watched high fidelity

Lin and I just sat on the couch together while watching High Fidelity, starring Jack Black and the Cusacks.  (I love that they're siblings.)  I had always wanted to see it but hadn't until tonight.  She still hasn't seen it due to her ability to sleep through movies on the couch with me.

I really liked it!  John Cusack's character, Rob had a similar transformation as me, Rob.  Basically just realized that imaginary relationships, if manifested, would never be as good as the one we Robs have right now.

mwm seeking iOS tutorial on downloading vids with the push of a button

I had some quick and easy success with the first two cocos2d tutorials at http://www.raywenderlich.com/tutorials but now I'm having a hard time finding a clear tutorial on how to download a video from a remote server and play it on iPhone.

The searches seem to be polluted with videos about downloading apps, but that's not what I want.  Even stackoverflow seems to be relatively silent on this issue.  sigh.

When I first started reading Peanuts cartoons, I pronounced "sigh" as "sig"

Not city - Siri!

Wow this voice recognition thing is pretty cool and iPhone. I was able to write a pretty long message to my friend one sentence at a time.

The above two sentences I wrote in one go by saying period in between each one.

Right now I'm at the last artist way meeting of Spring 2012. We're about to leave in 15 minutes I think.

So I'm just testing on my iPhone and write in journal entries.

We are pretty close to having Tudie be able to understand what I'm actually saying and not just transcribing words that you here. If we have the technology that Google had with Google wave then we can probably do pretty cool thank you.

So I'm trying to think and speak in real-time and try to make a low thing for city to transcribe.

But at the same time I can't laugh to think about the future grandkids same grandpa you had to type with your fingers you had to not talk to the computer mama blah craziness.

Close enough city, close enough.

And by city I mean CD.

No, Siri!!!

I had to type those last two words. Dammit.

rode TJ Bike to work again today

I was really moejoe (*) on my way out of the house today, but the weather was optimal and I had told myself I would do it on such optimal days, so I turned right to go over the bridge to Tokyo instead of left down the street to the bicycle parking garage.

The first few turns are easy though I thought I might have missed the fifth turn until I saw its landmark, a post office that means veer left here.

Veered left, veered right, etc etc.

I just started to draw a map but need to start workin'
